F.O.M.C.
Friends of Manhasset Crew is organized to promote and facilitate rowing for the athletes of Manhasset High school and Middle School. We purchase and maintain facilities and equipment, promote good sportsmanship, provide logistical support for team events and regattas, and run various programs to promote rowing and support the Manhasset Crew team. A significant part of our efforts involve fund raising and programs designed to increase awareness and help the team.
We are a not-for-profit corporation established under New York Not-For-Profit Law. We are recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as exempt from federal and state taxes and contributions are tax deductible. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of parents and former parents of the crew team of Manhasset High school.
